Headquartered in Kumasi, the capital town of the Ashanti Region, the Mid Ghana Union Conference (MGUC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Ghana is currently made up of seven conferences comprising the Central Ghana Conference, Mid-Central Ghana Conference, Mountain View Ghana Conference, South Central Ghana Conference, Ashanti Central Ghana Conference, Ashanti South Ghana Conference, and Green View Ghana Conference operating within two regions of Ghana, namely, Ashanti and Bono East.

The mission of the church in Ghana is to proclaim to all peoples the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angel’s messages of Revelation 14:6-12, leading them to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
The Adventist Church has a representative form of government. This means church members have the ultimate say in who leads the church.
