Two Muslim Inmates Freed Through Adventist Prisons Ministry Effort

Adventist Muslim Relations July 24, 2025

Ejura, Ashanti Region – July 14, 2025
With hearts full of gratitude and praise, the Mid-Ghana Union Conference (MGUC), in collaboration with the Mountain View Ghana Conference (MVGC), has facilitated the release of two Muslim inmates from the Ejura Prisons in the Ashanti Region.

The release, which took place on Monday, July 14, 2025, was made possible through a carefully coordinated process involving legal support and the payment of court-imposed fines by the Adventist Prisons Ministry team.

As the freed individuals transition back into society, efforts are underway to reconnect them with their families and integrate them into local communities. The church is also ensuring they are spiritually supported and uplifted, with members of the local Seventh-day Adventist Church offering continued prayer and encouragement for their journey of transformation.

This initiative underscores the church’s ongoing commitment to restorative justice, compassion, and inclusive outreach, reflecting Christ’s love to all — regardless of faith or background.
