Kumasi, Ghana – May 2025
As part of the WAD IMPACT 2025 initiative, two powerful evangelistic campaigns specifically designed for the Deaf community were held in the Mid-Ghana Union Conference (MGUC) territory, resulting in 18 baptisms.
The first campaign, held in Atimatim in April, featured a Deaf speaker who preached in sign language, leading seven Deaf individuals to accept Christ through baptism. The second campaign took place in Asante Bekwai in May and saw another 11 Deaf souls baptized, following the passionate ministry of another Deaf evangelist.
These landmark events underscore the Adventist Church’s commitment to inclusive evangelism, ensuring that the message of Christ reaches all people in a language they can understand. The success of these campaigns reflects the growing strength of Deaf Ministry in the region and its vital role in fulfilling the gospel commission.
