Kumasi, Ghana – July 9, 2025
The Mid-Ghana Union Conference (MGUC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has officially launched the “WAD IMPACT FAMILY 2026” initiative under the theme “Hope for Every Home.” The launch, held at the Union headquarters in Kumasi, marks the next phase of the West-Central African Division’s continent-wide evangelism campaign.
The program aims to mobilize Adventist families as centers of light, actively engaging in Bible studies, hospitality evangelism, and digital outreach, culminating in a large-scale satellite campaign in Lagos, Nigeria, by 2026.
During the launch, MGUC leaders reflected on the achievements of WAD IMPACT 2024/2025, which recorded over 16,600 baptisms, the establishment of 45 new churches, and the registration of 15,277 new members in the Adventist Church Management System (ACMS), achieving 55% of their 30,000 baptism target.
Speakers emphasized the need to refocus evangelistic efforts on nurturing the spiritual life of Adventist homes, with a timeline spanning from June 2025 to May 2026. Activities include 40 days of prayer, family emphasis week, training, Bible studies, and a retention and celebration phase.
The initiative underscores the church’s renewed commitment to holistic mission, preparing families spiritually for the return of Christ.
