Mid Ghana Union Conference, January 19–27, 2025
Pr. Dan Neisner, Director of Gospel Outreach (GO) a Non Profit Independent Ministry from the United States, embarked on a nine-day mission to the Mid Ghana Union Conference (MGUC) to monitor and support the growth of the Deaf ministry within the Union. His visit also focused on evaluating the work of four Gospel Outreach workers assigned to the region.
During his time in Ghana, Pr. Neisner engaged extensively with Union officers, field directors, Gospel Outreach workers, and the Deaf community. These interactions provided valuable insights into the successes and challenges of spreading the gospel among Deaf individuals.
A significant milestone of his visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Gospel Outreach and MGUC of Adventists. The MoU formalized and strengthened the partnership, ensuring sustained support for Deaf Ministry initiatives and the workers involved in this critical mission field.
The visit culminated in a historic Sabbath service that brought together 170 Deaf members in a spiritually uplifting gathering. This joyful occasion served as a testament to the growth of the Deaf ministry and the deep impact of Gospel Outreach’s efforts in supporting the spiritual mission of the Adventist Church. Deaf members expressed their gratitude for the initiatives that have fostered inclusivity and spiritual development within their community.
Pr. Neisner’s visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of Gospel Outreach and the Mid Ghana Union Conference to expanding and enhancing the Deaf ministry. This collaboration underscores their dedication to ensuring that the gospel reaches every individual, regardless of hearing ability.
